Did you ignore the closure and passed? It was like this already on my last ride (i.e. pretty much exactly three months ago), but it was easy to pass the road.
So what is your final total for the year? Goal for next year? Saving up energy for a hard start in January?
Sure did...in fact several times since the road has been blocked since the September typhoons. This time it looks like there is no budget or interest to repair this road. It may end up like what used to be the continuation all the way to the top of Otarumi - i.e. closed forever and become monkey land.
Let's see....16,321km for 2011; no ambitious goals set for 2012 though except that I'd like to go at a more leisurely pace from now on!
